Energy Manager
In Italy, the Energy Manager is the “technician who is responsible for the conservation and rational use of energy”, a figure introduced by art. 19 of L. 10/1991 in order to promote the control of energy consumption and the dissemination of good energy efficiency practices among public and private entities. The law specifies the primary energy consumption threshold above which it is mandatory – for public and private entities – to appoint the Energy Manager; regardless of the obligations, the presence of this figure in public and private realities is crucial to obtain the reduction of energy consumption and the efficiency of buildings and systems.
Federico Santi, Sole and Technical Director of Studio Santi, has held and still holds the position of Energy Manager in important companies in the public and private sector: with this role he has traced energy efficiency paths that have been undertaken and successfully implemented.
