Porti di Roma / Port Utilities
Ports of Rome, today the Port System Authority of the Central Northern Tyrrhenian Sea, is the public company that manages the three Lazio ports of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta. The subsidiary Port Utilities SpA is the concessionaire of energy, water and telecommunications services for the three aforementioned ports.
For over two years, Studio Santi has provided Port Utilities with ongoing technical-scientific advice for energy management within the ports of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta, taking care of the technical, regulatory and economic aspects of the electrical network inside the port of Civitavecchia, optimizing the purchase of energy, designing and supervising the implementation of a network of smart meters and an automatic electricity billing service, setting up a centralized energy management office, designing self-consumption solutions for photovoltaic energy generated inside the port.
Studio Santi carried out the preliminary and executive design, safety coordination and construction supervision for the construction of a new 600 kWp photovoltaic system located on the roof of the warehouse of the multinational Civitavecchia Forest Fruit Terminal (CFFT), along quay 25 of the port of Civitavecchia, and ancillary works.
Studio Santi supplied two commissioners for the tender (supply only) conducted by Port Utilities pursuant to D.Lgs. 50/2016 for the redevelopment of the entire lighting system of the ports of Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta, in three lots (CIG 80124914BE, CIG 8012494737, CIG 8012500C29) for 3 million euros, with the most economically advantageous offer (OEPV). The tender was awarded without any recourse.
On direct assignment from the port authority, Studio Santi has designed columns for the electricity and water supply to the boats of the police forces within the port of Civitavecchia.
